My blogs and why I write them

I write these blogs to encourage, to help people who suffer from issues I do, to bring hope to some who feel alone and to share stories and talk to fellow bloggers. I write a variety of things from quotes, thoughts on life, issues with panic and anxiety, stories, poems and more. I also share my photography and artwork that i do as part of my headline.

I hope it does help some and encourage. I hope others enjoy the poems, stories and thoughts. I also hope the art and photography brings a smile to some people. So, that is why I blog and I try to read as much as i can from my fellow bloggers, like and share some of the the things I like and although i may not always reply, I am reading. 🙂 Have a great day!

A Zombie world day 2

Now 36, she was used to all kids of weird things happening but the rat attacking her had put a really bad taste to her day. However, it would only be later that she realized how blessed she truly was. The Journalist, Ronald Simp, went home, got his wife Maurita, a teacher at the local school and had her take him to the hospital. He was treated and released after being given a rabies vaccine until he could go back and try and find the rat. Until then he would have to come back for rabies treatment.

The time of infection was different for each person. The nurse, Andrina, was infected when Ronald’s open wound got on a cut she had that had not fully healed and she was often absent minded about putting on her surgical gloves with patients. It took 3 hours before she began running a high fever. She was going to call off and go home but the hospital was filling up with sick patients and she had never seen so many at once so she decided to stay. Andrina worked, attended to patients and passed along the infection to some who might have survived but she was coughing and it in turn infected them, most of whom were not immune. Neither was she. When the infection finally affected her, she was helping a doctor stitch a wound while he checked two other patients, and the heat came on. Within minutes, she had attacked the Doctor.

Ronald Simp, the Journalist, took 7 hours and while having relations with his wife, bit her on the neck but since this was not unusual in their routine, she just thought he bit a little harder than usual. While she was at school the next day, her husband became fully infected and was the first in his neighborhood to attack someone when he was brought a mail delivery. The mail carrier, Richard Townsley, was bored and hot, waiting for someone to answer the door. It was his last delivery for the day and he was tired and at 300 lbs. sweating profusely. He hated the job but it paid good so he kept it. He was strumming his fingers on the box he was delivering when the man opened the door.

Richard stepped back without realizing it when he saw the mans crazed look and his eyes that were red and a dark purplish color on the pupils. He was about to drop the box and run when the man grabbed him and ripped his throat open with his teeth and then drank the sprouting blood. Ronald then ran out of the house, looking for fresh blood. As for Mack Buyer, he was immune but not fully.. He was now a carrier for as long as he had a fever. When his fever let up his immunity would kick in.

It’s okay to cry sometimes.

We build walls around our lives and our hearts but sometimes it is okay to cry. Sometimes our hearts need the release of just letting it all out and letting it go. We live in a beautiful but harsh world where it seems to make you appear weak if you cry but you are not. You are strong and crying is an emotion of strength.

We have to face so many battles and obstacles that it can be a heavy load to bear and to constantly smile through it all, well kudos to those who can. I am just too human and open for all of that. I am strong willed, determined, but man, sometimes i just have to let it all out and have a good cry.

I feel such a release after. I pray, I live right the best I can, I try to do right by others, I pick my battles but life can be tough. So I just hope there are others like me who know that at times, a good old fashioned cry down is the cure for healing.

It is beautiful and yet ugly. Life

Life can be so beautiful and yet so ugly.

Love, happiness, babies. marriage, friendship, family, adoption, playing, running, adventures, prayers, reading, painting, writing, flowers, trees, the four seasons, the pureness of snow, the laughter of a child.

Bills, stress, death of a child, burdens, anxiety, hatred, racism, divorce, affairs, riots, abuse of children and women, burning our flag, killing, using people, destroying.

Something so beautiful and yet so ugly

Life is like a bowl of prunes. Sometimes.

You know sometimes, life is like a bowl of prunes . You get to the point that everything seems just shriveled and out of whack. You often do what you can, when you can. Then it just gets to where you don’t understand people, things and so much more.

So, Pluck out the prunes and find the cherries and enjoy the savory juice of it all. Then when the prunes are gone you are surrounded by stunning red cherries. Just a thought for the day.

Why I love Dogs and Children

I love them both because their love is unconditional, they are resilient, they love back, they are there no matter how many times you think you are devoting time with them when really you are just trying to keep them occupied so you can get something done. And the sad thing is, some are abused and yet they still love you. Those my heart cries for.

They are funny, happy to see you, willing to forgive, loyal and they are sweet souls. I know in our generation and the teens in this day, though not all by any means but quite a few are now selfish, spoiled all about themselves and not very nice with almost no respect.

BUT there are still plenty like the above I mentioned. Dogs and the children who are still not spoiled brats ,  on the other hand, never change toward their masters or parents, unless they get rabies but still you get my point. No matter what you do to them, no matter how little time you have for them they always are there for you.

That is why I love dogs and children. Actually, I love all of the animal, mammal, bird etc. kingdom but dogs are in a different zone.

I often question

Yes, I sometimes question God. Quite often actually. But I know that I am honest when I pray about I feel. I do not sugarcoat because sometimes I do NOT understand why.

I don’t understand many things so I question them. I ask God all kinds of questions. I asked when i am hurt, lonely, confused, angry or whatever.

But that is okay because even if I am asking questions, he knows I at least care enough to ask and that means I am there, spending time and trying to get the answers.

Why are we bad examples as Christians?

Why? Simple. because so many of us judge, think we are “better” than the “non” Christians and we are haughty, rude and sometimes downright mean. That is not what the example of Christ is supposed to be.

Don’t get me wrong. We are humans and therefore we fail. period. We are supposed to love unconditionally but that doesn’t mean we have to be doormats. What it does mean is do not expect a person who does not believe to be like you. First of all, we are to show the example, not judge the person or people who believe different.

Also, there are plenty of non Christians who are kinder than we are. That is sad. We should try and show the love of Christ through example but not by brow beating or judging or not keeping “company” with those we feel are not “like” us. Remember Jesus dined, walked and was among those that had no belief in him and had lifestyles not accepted in that time.

The very people we shun are the very people we should be talking to. Yes, we hang with other Christians but we also hang with those who are not. How can you show an example if you are never around them. Our churches are just building. The real church is us. So, we need to practice what we preach. IF we have done all we could and we are still mocked, scorned and treated bad no matter what we do, then love but walk away.

However, also remember when you pass that beggar on the street, or ignore someone asking for food, judge because someone isn’t “like” you, you are worse than they ever were. Be the example, not the Judge.
