This is like a guide for me on how to stay healthy, in shape, calm (not always 100% because of anxiety but it sure helps) and how to use it for the things in life that try and take me over the top. There are so many styles and methods and yes, I still struggle because some are just really hard to do. But I do love it and I love being able to lose myself in it. The music playing is calm and sometimes I use the sounds of nature when I am in the mode for that. Yoga. It is a way of life and it does work!
well photo and weird art I make.
I said the pic of my marigolds was 7th generation but it was last year so 6th. This year will be seven. These are the zinnias from last year. some are full bloom and some are not.
Here they are from last year. Just starting to pop up this year! the other variety I have are even more beautiful and very full bloom!
A few years ago, 8 to be exact, a friend told me to save my Marigold and Zinnia seed from the flowers as the die off, place them on paper towels and let them dry. Then she said to place them in a paper bag and re-plant each year instead of buying a 97 cent bag that holds maybe ten. I did and now at year seven, they are growing and each year I collect hundreds of them and I have never had to buy anymore since. So, I thought I would pass that along to my fellow gardening bloggers! It WORKS!
Here is one! Hope you like it!
I do occasionally put some humor on here, lol, but I started blogging for those people like me who need to hear about lives that are not always happy and glorious and for people who live with the loss of a child or anxiety,
panic or live with someone who has these issues. Autism (my oldest daughter) ADHD, OCD (me) and so we could all relate or maybe someone wanted to knw what it is .
But I also love to read the happy blogs and the blogs about photography and just fun things because they lift me up! I love to see the smiles, the flowers, the gardens or old landmarks and just everything. So, of course in an already dismal world, my page is not as popular as others but I never expected it to be.
But that is what I love about the beauty of blogging. We can all be ourselves and share with each other our realities and our lives.
The sweet singing of birds, Children laughing, people smiling.
Butterflies dancing on the flowers, Bees flitting about.
A card or note sent to say I love you, a hug when needed.
ladybugs with their beautiful colors and flowers that color our world.
A baby that smiles for the first time, your child say’s their first word.
Your significant other brings you flowers, you give them the gift they have been wanting and you both smile.
The sound of falling rain, the shaking of thunder.
The world is full of so many beautiful things. We just have to look and take in a breath.
We, so many of us, search for the impossible dream.
Only to find it was there all along.
It wasn’t money, it wasn’t fame, it wasn’t popularity or being the best.
It is a smile from someone who cares
The soft flow of a brezze
The kiss and hug from a child
The sound of ocean waves as they roll onto the beach
Birds singing a song
A beautiful world filled with flowers and mountains and so much The joy of being loved.
It is there. We just have to look and the search stops.
I love little one that you share my love of Fairies. I have always loved them. We build a fairie garden every year and put their houses up and flowers and all kids of things. I love to make them and pretend they are there. Why? because it is just the beauty of those tiny little creatures flying around. Somewhere.
“But, nonna, we never see them so are they real?”
“I don’t know. We believe in air because it helps us to live but we never see it. And you know what? Even if fairies are not real, they are real in our minds”.
I know the child in me believes they and the adult in me say’s don’t be stupid. There is no such thing. But as long as we want to dream of them and believe in them, we can, my little. Just us. You and I.
