Morning has Broken…. The Day is Beautiful if you search for Diamonds among the Stones…

I love that song that starts with Morning has broken and I do not even know who sings it but just the opening words are refreshment to my Soul. I went back last week for an unexpected second trip to Florida which is totally out of sync for me. But this time I had Soul reflections. I listened from a Balcony to the Symphony of waves and birds and just reflected. I was in the middle of this and I was praying and just being in the moment. It was then I realized that I had lost so much of me in the challenge to try and save others. But I realized that sometimes you are sucked dry from trying to save someone who will not change you lose parts of yourself. I found me again. really found me. The girl who used to walk that same beach at night every Summer. The dreamer, the believer the one who thought there was only good in the World. I still believe there is so much good in the World but also you have to be careful not to get absorbed and caught into the net of bad. I came back more like the dreamer and now I realize I have to love but I also have to capture my own dreams and believe again. Have a great day/evening wherever you are.

I saw a Bobcat. At 2 a.m. or maybe it was a Mountain Lion. I didn’t even know we had these things in Ga…..

I forgot to give my niece her keys after I had checked on a pet at her grooming Salon and she lives an hour from me sooooo I get home at 12 and yay, there they are. so, I had to turn around and go all of the way back. Anyway, I was close to home around 2 a.m. and coming up the road I saw movement and looked over and saw this huge cat. I slowed down and since no one was behind I pulled to the side of the road. I looked and saw this huge cat just staring as it sat. I was so tired I thought maybe I was imagining it until it moved again. I was in awe but not enough to get out and try to get a pic. This thing was huge. I never even knew we had them here. It looked like the one on the left.

It is a beautiful day in the Neighborhood…. :)

I fell asleep early so of course i was wide awake at 4:30 a.m. Normally I would try and go back to sleep but today I just got up and decided to make the best of it. I am glad I did. I watched from my window as the cats played in the early morning dew. Chasing what I am not sure but it was funny to watch. I got my morning Java and walked outside to hear birds singing, a comfortable coolness in the air and I saw some early flowers that are starting to open. It was a nice way to start the day. Have a great day/evening where ever you may be! 🙂

A beautiful, Sunny, Hot Day………. Then Raven got out…..

It has been beautiful out today even if it felt like a 110 degrees. I got some yard work done and came in to get some cold iced tea. I drank some and then went back out where I saw my female Shepherd, Raven, had escaped. Good thing she didn’t connect with lucifer, the neighbors dog. Anyways, this is one smart dog. She had decided to escape by digging a hole and the biting on the privacy fence until she could use the broken wood to snap the other piece (wooden by the way).
Did I mention I had to shut off the water to the outside faucet because she can turn it on by herself? She always finds a way like that Velociraptor on Jurassic Park. She has found every possible way to escape just so she can prove a point I guess because she never leaves the yard. I guess she just wants to see if she can escape. lol. Yes, we spend tons of time with her and our larger Shep Nitro. But wow. There is nothing this dog cannot figure out! So, after playing tag around the yard for an hour, she quit and went back into the backyard. I am sweating, out of breath and exhausted. She is happy, chasing a ball and getting yelled at by Nitro when she misbehaves. hahahahah. Have a great day/night fellow bloggers!
