The ability to read people can be hard. In the last few months, someone who has tried to destroy my reputation, my life and my ability to even write or do art because they are like a non stop plague has really affected me. Now, even with the ones they are “allowing” to speak to me because they think they succeeded in destroying me have fake faces and black hearts. They can smile all day and fill it with I love you’s. I believed it before because I loved so deeply but now I can see it for what it is. Fake. However, I did a lot of prayer, breathing and meditation this morning and I am not going to let them win. I am going to soldier on as they say and write, work on art, do my photography even if it means standing it alone. Better that than to be caught up again in a pit of snakes. It is hard because I am a kind person but so many times it is those with good hearts who get trampled on. All I can say is if you find yourself in my position, get the steel plated armor on and fight back by being as strong as you can. Let go of the toxin and let love for yourself take over. I hate when I rant like this but I hope to maybe help someone else who is facing what I have and encourage them. SOLDIER ON. Do NOT give up. 🙂
Trying to delete history of the United States will not change anything. It will not make the World a better place because it is just that . History. We have learned from and we can still learn from it but by trying to erase it, we are also erasing all of the good that came from it. Religion, Martin Luther King Jr. (whom I greatly admire) Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, JFK, Abraham Lincoln (whom I also greatly admire). Just many things and good people. Lessons learned from tragic mistakes and bad people such as Hitler, serial killers, oppressions and the list goes on. Of course bad things happened and great things happened. My grandfather, a man of Indian heritage was one of the wisest people I have ever met. He taught me things that serve me to an advantage to this very day. He taught me about strength, forgiveness, love, acceptance, giving and keeping your word. He had a tough life growing up but he never missed a beat. He told me of his History and tragedies he experienced and it taught me to always be a kinder, more forgiving person. Tearing down Statues, rioting, trying to erase things that happened is just a mind boggle for me. I walk around people and in 90% of the cases, we are smiling at each other. I look at the eyes and see it when mask are on. Leave History just where it is and we can still learn. But we can also realize that while we cannot change it because it is a done deal, just work to make the World, OUR World, a better place.
Just like everything in life, there is good and there is bad. Racism is one of them. There is also good and bad in every situation. You have some white people that are racist against African Americans, there are some African Americans racist against white people, some Indians racist against white people and vice versa. In every color, nationality or whatever you will find racism. You will also find good people and bad people. Good cops and bad cops, Some Muslims against Christians and again vice versa. racist homeowners against renters, racism exist in every form. However, it is up to us as a species to find the find the good and avoid the bad. There are just situations that no matter what you do, it is not going to change some things. Turning against each other because some people choose to be racist is just not okay with me. Uniting together as one with no color, no creed, no status involved and being as one is how we can all make change. not by all the things going on now. We cannot change History but we can make today and the future better by coming together. Just my take for the day. Have a great day/evening wherever you are.
I believe ALL lives matter because it is not about a race or a heritage. It is about living, breathing humans. It is about mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. It is about the drug addict, the alcoholic, those suffering form mental issues, those who are fine. Doctors, Teachers, Nurses, Store employees, Servers. the point is, to me, it is about us ALL! Because we all belong to someone’s love. And if there is someone no one cares about, then if we see that we should show love. Because to me. ALL . LIVES. MATTER.
Not by color. Not by economics. Not by status. Not by anything. we need to join hands across this Nation and we need to stand tall and comfort, talk, argue, discuss, act like a family that disputes each other and then forgives because the love runs deep. Our love for Our great Nation has made us ONE family. Whether we agree or not on everything, we don’t have to. But hatred will only create more hatred. Someone once told me most anger comes from pain. Well, let us heal the pain but not with violence and hatred but with love and respect. Because the greatest thing you can ever give is love.
I am trying so hard as I keep saying to stay away from this but how can you> I mean it is everywhere. Monuments destroyed, history being erased from even those who are asking not to erase it. Everything is offensive. This is stupid. Riots, mayhem, people killing people. where does it stop? I guess when we take a stand. Whether that stand is different from what others believe, there is no reason we cannot work it out to have all of us agree that as Americans we need to come together and fix this. I am in shock over the pictures and videos of people being spit on, beaten, killed. I am gentle at heart but I am a great defender of what I believe in and I am more than willing to agree to disagree but solve through Unity. Ok. rant for the moment. Might be more. lol.
