Yoga hates me….. Just kidding…

Yoga hates me. Of course I am kidding since I do Yoga and it is very beneficial BUT I think it is out to get me. I mean, the things I have to do to my body to get into Yoga positions are like, “Seriously”? Like my body was not made to contort like this. I just do it and of course fall half of the time but I do it. I jingle this way, I stretch, I do my enemy downward dog. Why is downward dog so hard for me? Well, Keep on hating me Yoga because I know inside you really love me or you would not torture my body into health. hahahaha. And I feel so good after. Yoga.   1. Be very careful, look after your body. It’s very easy to seriously hurt yourself trying to emulate others. Enjoy doing the yoga that makes you feel good and love and care for your body

      1. Yeah, I know what you mean. The internet is full of pictures of ultra-impressive asanas, but that doesn’t mean that everyone needs to do that to get the benefits of yoga. If you can’t get your feet flat on downward dog, that’s absolutely ok. Personally, my yoga goal was to be able to sit comfortably for a long time on the floor, I regularly sit in half lotus or kneel and use full lotus for meditation. If you’re doing yoga for relaxation, make sure you feel relaxed doing it 😉

      2. Well, that is a great way to think about it. Because I do it for strength and toning but especially for relaxing. Thanks you so much for some great advice!
